Chapitre 25: Truly my disciple
Aiden started to refine the ingredients one by one using the furnace.
It took some time for him to extract all of the impurities from the herbs. It was not as easy as refining a potion, He now understood why Rias was saying this earlier.
Rias was watching him carefully from the behind to instruct him whenever he made a mistake.
"Don't take the ingredients out yet, they still need a whole minute of refining!" She stopped him in the middle from taking out the ingredients from the furnace as they were yet to be fully purified.
Aiden was scared by this sudden shout and jumped back instinctively.
"Oof, that scared me." He sighed, looking at Rias with disdain.
"Did i scare you, Disciple?" She teased him, taking advantage of the situation.
"No... I am not to be easily scared." He was embarrassed after coming back to his senses.
Rias chuckled after seeing this funny reaction of his.
After a few seconds, Aiden realized that the ingredients were ready and carefully took them out one by one.
He made sure to not exert too much pressure as he did not want to instantly crumbling the refined ingredients.
"The ingredients are now ready!" He smiled, looking at Rias.
Rrias nodded her head and told him to perform the next step now.
Aiden nodded and looked at the recipe once again.
"The next step is ' extracting the pure essence from the ingredients'." He read the words loudly.
"How am I supposed to to that?" He turned his head towards Rias as he didn't know what to do.
"Check the recipe book, brat." She rolled her eyes, looking at him in a weird manner.
"Well, okay..." Aiden nodded and shifted his gaze towards the recipe book.
"To extract the essence from the ingredients, use this alchemy skill." He once again read the words out loud.
He looked at the scribbles on the right side of the recipe book.
"Isn't this the writing of a little kid?" He squinted his eyes, deeply focusing on the scribbles, trying to comprehend them.
Aiden looked at the scribbles. "How am I even supposed to learn this skill when the writing is so rough!?" he thought to himself.
Rias noticed his frustration and walked over to him. "Don't worry, Aiden. I'll help you," she said, placing her hand on his shoulder.
Aiden looked up at her, feeling a sense of comfort from her touch. He knew he could always rely on her.
"Okay, let's do this," she said, taking the recipe book from his hand. She read through the scribbles and started to explain the process of extracting the pure essence from the ingredients.
Aiden listened intently, trying to absorb every bit of information. Rias was an excellent teacher, and he trusted her completely.
"Once you've extracted the pure essence, you'll need to combine it with the other ingredients to create the pill," Rias said, handing him back the recipe book.
Aiden nodded and got back to work. He used the alchemy skill that Rias had passed onto him to extract the pure essence from the ingredients. It wasn't easy, but with Rias's guidance, he managed to do it.
Next, he combined the pure essence with the other ingredients and put the mixture into the furnace.
They waited patiently as the furnace heated up, watching as the ingredients started to bubble and mix together.
After a few minutes, Aiden opened the furnace and took out the finished product. It was a small, golden pill that shone brightly in the light.
"Wow, I did it!" Aiden exclaimed, feeling proud of himself.
"Naw, we did," Rias said as she giggled at him. "But I have to say, you did a great job. You're truly my disciple"
Aiden beamed with happiness, feeling a sense of accomplishment. He had finally created his first pill with the help of his master.
Rias handed him the pill and said, "This is the Marrow Refining Pill. It's a powerful pill that can help improve the body's strength and vitality."
Aiden looked at the pill, feeling a sense of awe. He had never imagined he could create something so amazing.
"Thank you, master" he said, bowing to her.
Rias smiled and said, "You're welcome. I'm proud of you, if you keep growing like this, maybe you even can surpass me."

They spent many hours, doing alchemy and practicing different techniques. Aiden was slowly starting to learn every basic techniques of alchemy and knew that he still had a lot to learn.
As the sun set behind the mountains, they sat near the window, looking up at the first star in the sky. Aiden felt at peace, knowing that he had found a better relationship with Rias.
"Master, can I ask you something?" he said, breaking the silence.
"Of course, Aiden. What is it?"
"Why did you take me as your disciple? I'm just an orphan who lost everything, at that time, you could have just left me to die... I mean, why would such a great person care about someone like me?" he said, looking down at his hands.
Rias placed her hand on his shoulder and said, "Aiden, I saw something in you that I knew was special. You have a pure heart and a strong spirit, and I knew that you had the potential to become a great person."
Aiden looked up at her, feeling grateful for her kind words. "Thank you, master. I will do my best to live up to your expectations."
"I know you will, Aiden. You're already on the path to greatness," Rias said, smiling at him.
Aiden felt a sense of warmth in his heart. He was now a hundred-precent sure that he would be able to avenge his his parents and his sect.
His dreams of re-establishing the Roy sect would soon come true. His heart and mind were dancing in joy.
But he had made up his mind, he had made up his mind to Help Rias in the future, repay all her kindness back ten-folds.
His eyes sparkled, looking at his beautiful master...
