Chapitre 4: Chapter 1.3

3rd POV)

As Orion scanned the vibrant surroundings of the park, his gaze landed on a girl sitting alone in the grass, lost in thought. She was picking at blades of grass and twirling them between her fingers; her eyes focused on the ground beneath her. He felt a tug at his heartstrings as he observed her, sensing a melancholic aura surrounding her.

"Hi, my name is Orion," he said. He took a deep breath, mustering up the courage to approach her. Slowly, he went over to where she was sitting. He then cleared his throat to get her attention.

She looked up at him, her eyes wide with surprise at the unexpected visitor. "Hi, I'm Victoria, but everyone calls me Vickie," she replied softly, her voice hinting at sadness.

Orion smiled at Vickie's introduction. "Nice to meet you, Vickie. But can I call you Tori instead?" he asked, trying to make her feel more at ease.

Vickie's eyes brightened up at the suggestion. "Sure, I'd like that," she replied, her voice now more cheerful.

Orion's eyes lit up as he looked at Tori with a big smile. "Wanna play with me?" he asked, extending his hand to help her up from the ground.

Tori's eyes widened with surprise at the invitation. She was not used to anyone approaching her to play. But something about Orion's friendly demeanor and warm smile made her feel more comfortable.

"Sure," she said softly, taking his hand and standing up.

"Let's go on the swings first!" Tori exclaimed, her tiny legs carrying her towards them with boundless enthusiasm. Orion followed her, chuckling at her excitement as they hopped onto the swings. They took turns pushing each other higher and higher, their laughter filling the air with joy and delight.

"Wow, Tori! You're such a great swing pusher!" Orion said as Tori sent him soaring high up into the sky.

Tori beamed, happy to have made a new friend at the park. "Thanks, Orion! I love pushing people on swings. It's one of my favorite things to do here. What about you? What's your favorite thing to do at the park?"

Orion thought for a moment, swinging back and forth on the swing. "Hmm, I like climbing in the jungle gym the most. It's so much fun to explore and see everything up high!"

"Hey, let's go on the monkey bars!" he pointed excitedly. Tori looked up at the bars, then back at Orion with a worried expression. "I don't know if I can do it," she said hesitantly. "They look high."

"Don't worry, I'll be right here with you," Orion said, taking her hand. "We can do it together."

Tori smiled, feeling a bit more confident. They made their way over to the monkey bars, and Orion helped her onto the first rung. "Just take it one step at a time," he said encouragingly.

Tori slowly started to walk across the bars, with Orion guiding her every step. She was a bit shaky at first but soon found her balance and gained some speed. "I'm doing it!" she exclaimed happily.

Orion cheered her on, feeling proud of his new friend. They continued to play on the monkey bars, trying out new tricks and laughing all the while.

Eventually, they made their way over to the slides, where they had a blast racing each other down the twists and turns.

As the afternoon wore on, Abby realized it was time for them to head home. She called Orion over and told him that they had to go.

Orion turned to his new friend Tori with a smile. "Goodbye, Tori. I had fun playing with you today," he said.

Tori smiled back, a hint of sadness in her eyes. "Goodbye, Orion. I had a great time, too," she replied.

Abby watched as the two children hugged each other. She couldn't help but feel grateful that her son had made such a sweet friend.

As they walked away, Orion looked back and waved at Tori. "Bye, Tori! See you again soon!" he shouted.

Tori waved back, her smile now wider. "Bye, Orion! Have a safe trip home!" she called out.

Abby and Orion continued on their way home, with Orion chattering excitedly about all the fun things he and Tori had done together. Abby smiled, knowing that this was a day that Orion would never forget.

—---

After coming home from the park, Abby gave Orion a warm bath and put him down for a nap in his cozy crib, surrounded by his favorite toys and stuffed animals. The room was filled with soft light filtering through the curtains, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere.

As Orion slept soundly, his chest rising and falling in a gentle rhythm, he dreamed of the adventures he had that day in the park. He imagined running and laughing with his new friend Tori, sliding down the playground's slide and swinging higher and higher.

After what felt like hours, Orion's eyes fluttered open. He blinked a few times, trying to adjust to the dimly lit room. The sun had set outside, and the room was bathed in a soft, warm glow from the night light in the corner.

Orion rubbed his eyes, refreshed and eager to try his siphoning ability.

He cautiously excited his crib and quietly walked through his dimly lit room. It had been an accidental occurrence the last time he siphoned, but he was determined to control it this time. His tiny hands clenched and unclenched as he concentrated on maintaining his siphoning; he didn't want to siphon from anyone accidentally.

His gaze wandered toward the wooden bracelet Grams had gifted him, and he couldn't help but admire its simple yet exquisite design. The smooth surface of the polished wood was interrupted by subtle, intricate carvings, and the bracelet had a certain weight and warmth that felt comforting against his skin.

Orion stood still, feeling the power building up within him as he gazed intently at the wooden bracelet on his wrist. With each passing moment, he felt the subtle hum of magic emanating from it, a pulsing energy he longed to tap into and harness.

Taking another deep breath, he focused on the bracelet, feeling the energy coursing within it. Gradually, he began to sense the subtle vibrations, attuning himself to the rhythm and pulse of the magic contained within. Like a river flowing calmly, he could feel the magic's steady current running through the wooden surface of the bracelet.

With a tentative hand, he reached out and curled his fingers around the smooth wooden material. At first, nothing happened, but he persisted, concentrating intensely on the flow of magic. He visualized the energy entering his body, making it his own, and as he did, he could sense the magic becoming more responsive to his touch.

As Orion gazed down at the bracelet, he felt an intense rush of magic flowing through him. It was like a storm of energy, and he was at the center of its swirling vortex. The sensation was euphoric, as if he was being lifted by a gentle breeze and carried on a journey of pure magic. With each passing moment, he felt a growing sense of strength and potency as the power surged through his veins and filled him with radiant energy.

His senses sharpened, and he felt more alive and connected to the forces of magic surrounding him simultaneously.

Orion had never experienced anything like it before, and it was both exciting and overwhelming. The intensity of the magic rushing through him was almost too much to bear, and he could feel his heart pounding. He was both exhilarated and intimidated by the power he now possessed.

As he stood there, basking in the glow of the magic, The crimson light emanating from his fingertips grew brighter as the magic infused him with power, and he reveled in the feeling of control he found himself with.

As he focused on the bracelet, his tiny hands clutched it tightly, almost as if it was an extension of himself. The magic within the bracelet merged with his own, strengthening him from within.

He could sense its power flowing into him, filling him with invincibility. It was as if he was untouchable, protected by a barrier of magic that no one could penetrate.

Orion couldn't help but grin from ear to ear as he basked in the afterglow of his recent success. Finally, he had managed to siphon magic at will, and the sense of pride and accomplishment that came with it was indescribable. He was relieved that he would no longer have to worry about accidentally siphoning magic, but a nagging worry lingered in his mind.

Orion had learned from past experiences that strong emotions could trigger a siphoning of magic. He couldn't let his guard down, especially when feeling intense emotions. The last thing he wanted was to lose control and accidentally drain the magic from someone he cared about or be found out.

He understood that he needed to maintain his emotional composure and exercise caution. He knew he had to keep his emotions in check and be mindful of changes in his magical state. It was crucial to avoid unintended consequences, and he was determined to stay focused and in control or at least try to.

—----

Orion gently cradled his teddy bear and placed it in front of him, ensuring it was safe and secure. Taking a deep breath, he focused his mind and all his magical energy on the plush toy. He fixed his gaze upon it with an intense focus as he began to channel the magic within him.

He felt excitement and wonder with the magic coursing through his tiny body. He felt a surge of focus on the precise movements and incantations required. The energy within him seemed to bubble and boil with anticipation, as though eager to be unleashed in a spectacular display of magic.

He had watched the natural movement spell from The Vampire Diaries countless times before his rebirth as a soul, and now he was determined to try it for himself. Orion was mindless as he was concerned with determination as he whispered under his breath, fully aware that executing the spell would take all his focus and energy.

The magic within him surged through his veins, pulsing with vibrant energy he could feel in every fiber of his being. With closed eyes, he visualized the plush toy he wanted to move, picturing it in his mind's eye with vivid clarity.

As he poured more and more of his magic into the spell, Orion willed the toy to move with his mind. His concentration intensified with each passing moment, his mind focused entirely on the task. However, with each failed attempt, frustration mounted within him, and he could feel his anger rising.

Despite his best efforts to control his emotions, Orion could feel the magic reacting to his inner turmoil, crackling with explosive energy around him. He struggled to keep himself calm, but the frustration and anger building within him seemed to overpower his will.

With a sudden burst of determination, he uttered "Motus," hoping the spell would work and move his toy as intended.

However, he was unprepared for the sheer force of the magic that surged through him in response. The plush toy flew off the ground, propelled by uncontrollable energy.

Orion's eyes widened in shock and fear as the power of the magic he had unleashed seemed to take on a life of its own. The crib that had once been so securely anchored to the wall was thrown across the room with tremendous force, and toys and books flew everywhere. The wind in the room had picked up, causing everything to whirl and spin in a chaotic dance.

Orion tried to regain control, but the magic was too strong, too wild. He could feel the energy coursing through his body, urging him to keep going and pushing the boundaries of what he thought was possible. But he also knew he needed to reign in the magic before it caused more damage.

As Orion struggled to concentrate and pacify the raging magic within him, sweat trickled down his forehead, and his entire body trembled. His veins bulged as he grappled with the immense power coursing through his veins. Suddenly, blood began to drip from his nose, eyes, and ears, indicating how much magic he was channeling.

Despite the intense pain and the metallic taste of blood in his mouth, Orion continued to focus his willpower on calming the magic. Gradually, the wind subsided, and the objects in the room slowly settled down. The only sounds were his labored breaths as he desperately tried to regain control of his magic. Finally, after what felt like an eternity, he succeeded. However, he felt utterly drained and exhausted, and his body gave way as he passed out.

(Abby POV)

I was making dinner in the kitchen when I suddenly heard the sound of crashing objects coming from Orion's room. My heart started racing, and I immediately dropped everything and rushed to see what had happened.

As I looked down at my precious son, Orion's unconscious body, in my arms, my heart sank, and my eyes welled up with tears. Overwhelming fear and panic took hold of me, and my hands trembled as I tried to keep my composure. I couldn't help but feel helpless and desperate as I held him close, entirely vulnerable and defenseless.

My gaze fell on the blood that trickled down his nose, eyes, and ears, and my mind raced with possibilities. Was it his magic? Has someone attacked him?

I brushed my fingers through Orion's hair, trying to get a closer look at him. My heart sank as I gazed at my son, my sweet Orion, lying in my arms. Seeing the blood trickling down his nose, eyes, and ears filled me with anguish. I cradled him tightly, feeling his chest rise and fall with each breath. The only thing that mattered was his safety and well-being.

Without wasting a moment, I fumbled for my phone and dialed my mother's number. She was a seasoned witch with years of experience handling magical emergencies, and I knew she could help me. Despite my fear, I knew I needed to act quickly to get Orion's help.

As the phone rang, my mind raced with questions and worries. Was this the result of his magic? Has someone attacked him? My mother answered.

"Hello," she said

"Mom, something's happened to Orion," I said, my voice shaking with emotion. "I need your help."

There was a moment of silence on the other end of the line, and I could hear the concern in my mother's voice as she replied. "What's happened? Is he hurt?" she asked.

"I'm not entirely certain," I replied, my voice wavering slightly. "But when I discovered him, he was lying unconscious, blood trickling from his nose, ears, and eyes. His room was also in disarray as if a powerful force had been at play." My words trailed off as I struggled to contain the overwhelming distress and worry in my chest.

"Alright, stay calm," my mother instructed. "I'll be there as soon as I can. In the meantime, ensure he's breathing and secure him in a safe place. I'll need you to tell me everything that happened when I arrived."

I followed her instructions, checking Orion's breathing and securing him safely while waiting for my mother's arrival. As I waited, my mind raced with possibilities of what could have happened. I couldn't help but feel a mix of emotions - fear, confusion, and a deep sense of responsibility to keep Orion safe.

( DUN DUN DUH… Orion used too much of his magic, and things got out of control… will he be fine.)
