" don't be scared, I don't bite" The guy said once again. "You said I was scared" Alison walked up to him and sat beside him.

She took off her shoes and dipped her feet into the water. "My name is Ace what's yours?" Ace asked. "Alison" she replied. "Alison. names for pretty girls like you. So Alison what were you doing out here?" Ace asked. "huh huh" Shrugged. "Just wanted to go out. Home feels suffocating. I wanted to get some fresh air and relax my nerves"Alison said then sighed.
"I don't know I suddenly feel like I've known you for a long time,but I feel like I trust you with this"Alison said then looked at Ace and said again "My past is haunting me down". "Oh... You know everyone has a nightmare, I also have one" Ace laid his back on the grass.
"Hmm. True, everyone has their own nightmares"Alison nodded and also laid on the grass. While she and Ace were chatting her tummy grumbled. "Wow it's past 12 I've been here for long, I haven't had my breakfast"Alison got up from the
grass and dusted off the grass on her clothes.
She face twitched when she remembered if she got back home she was going to have black beans for lunch which she hated. "What's wrong? you aren't going home?" Ace also got up and stared at Alison. "Oh shit" She slapped her forehead. "I just remembered we'd be having black beans for lunch and I despise it alot"Alison said.
"I thought I was the only one who hates black beans"Ace chuckled then said. " There's a fast food restaurant somewhere there you can get something to eat there"He added.
"Oh"Alison mouthed. " C'mon get up, let me take you there" Ace got up and stretched his hand to Alison. Alison stared at the hand then said "I don't need help, I'm not crippled" before getting up and followed Ace.
Ace ordered for chicken breast and bugger for Alison and lamb chops and mashed potatoes for himself. After eating she walked out of the restaurant. Her phone suddenly rang. It was Ryan.
"Excuse me"Alison gestured to Ace then picked Ryan's call."Yes?" Alison answered coldly. "Allie mom and dad just got back, their fight was cancelled so they'd be going back tomorrow and mom asked of you"A voice from the other end of the call said.
"So what did you tell them?" She asked. "that you went on a morning walk because you were bored. Hurry back home now" Ryan said. "Hmm"She answer then hung up the call. "I gotta return home now. Foster mom is worried about me" Alison turned to Ace and said.
"Alright, get going. don't make mom worried about you. it was nice meeting you"Ace smiled meekly. "hmhm"Alison also smiled then turned around to leave. "Bye Allie" Ace said. "bye" Alison waved.
Ace watched her leave till she disappeared from his sight, that was when his smiley face turned back cold when she left. He dipped his hands into his pocket and walked arrogantly down the street.
2 days later. It was Monday.
Alison was yet to see her period. She got to school as usual. While walking up the stairs, she had a headache. "hsss" She gritted her teeth together. Everything in front of her was blurry. She managed to get to class.
Few days later
Her headache kept kicking in frequently and she felt nauseous yet she still hadn't seen her period.
One day while the teacher was teaching she ran out of the class to the restroom to throw up all what she had eaten. She threw up the little sandwich she ate in the morning.
