"If you want me to do this for you, you must agree to one condition," the figure in the shadows said after a moment of silence, his voice deep.

"I understand. State your condition," Soren asked.

"After I take care of your target, I won't return to this basement," the voice from the shadows continued, accompanied by the sound of rattling chains. 

Hearing this request, Soren's expression subtly changed, and he frowned, saying, "According to Silas Quill's instructions, you're not yet free to..."

"I didn't say I wanted freedom, I just want to stay in a better environment," the figure in the shadows interrupted.

Soren's face showed hesitation, clearly weighing the pros and cons.

After a moment, he made a decision.

"If you can take care of that person for me, I agree to your condition and will move you to a better place afterward," Soren said.

"Heh heh..." A dry, cold laugh echoed, followed by the crisp sound of chains.
