Chapitre 26: A Shocking Scene

Nidia stared at the glass of wine. There were lots of glasses on top of the bar, which meant everyone was drinking the same thing. She had just bumped into Jefferson, so the wine couldn't possibly be drugged.

"Hello, Mr. Cunningham." Nidia greeted him politely, acting distant.

Nidia took the glass and downed the entire wine in one go.

Nidia wanted to leave immediately after finishing the drink, not wanting to stay any longer. She was scared that she might bump into Jackson if she did. Unfortunately, she didn't expect Jefferson to stop her in her tracks.

He took a step forward, blocking her path. "Why are you in such a rush, Miss South?"

Nidia narrowed her eyes.

Jefferson Cunningham was the manager of the public relations department in TF Co.

Lily had been working in the public relations department for quite some time, and Nidia had heard multiple complaints about this man from her.
