Chapitre 17: Feed Her Medicine

In the VIP hotel room, Nidia stared blankly at the clothes the manager had handed to her. The coffee table was also filled with various dishes as well, all cooked with extremely expensive ingredients. The hotel must have used its best ingredients for her supper.

Nidia was surprised. She thought she didn't deserve such treatment, so she didn't dare to accept it. She turned to the manager and said, "Thank you so much, but I'm not hungry."

"Miss South, to be frank, I'm just a lowly worker... please don't make things hard for me. Please just eat a little even if you're not hungry. If Mr. Cunningham were to blame this on us, I won't be able to take it." The manager pleaded, her face was still plastered with that professional smile.

Nidia didn't know what the manager viewed her as. Jackson's lover? Or maybe just his fling for the night?

However, to Nidia, none of this was important. It was true she came here with such intentions.
