Chapitre 154: First Chapter

Ryan groggily opened his eyes, feeling cold water running down his spine and his shirt soaking wet with sweat.

Shifting his eyes around, he was still on the same bed he had thrown himself onto earlier.

Crack. Crack. Crack.

Gazing at the expanding cracks on his skin through the mirror across the room, he remained motionless for a while, trying to understand why was his skin getting damaged.

"For how long have I been asleep?" he wondered, raising his hand with great effort. He was supposed to sleep through the process of healing entirely.

All sorts of different thoughts emerged inside of his mind as he looked back at the fight he had not too long ago.

But if there was one thing I was sure of at the moment...

Tapping on his phone, which lay abandoned by the bedside, Ryan was surprised.

[Today at 02:45 a.m.]

[Tuesday, 26th of December, 5231]

It had only been an hour since he fell asleep.
