Zenesha sat in the Moon Garden, and her attendants stood not far from her table. Her face was lifted, and she was enjoying the bath of the moonlight.
One thing she discovered after Prime had weakened her Spirit Shackles was that she could now slightly influence the pure Zenesha's actions through her mind.
However, it was only true when the premise was that it was in line with her everyday routine and her character. For example, even if she wanted to interfere with the pure Zenesha's actions and visit the Crimson Moon Palace as Prime did, it would undoubtedly be a failure.
Yet, if she only influenced her to visit Moon Garden and stay there for long periods of time so as not to encounter the men in her harem, the chances of success were high.
Zenesha didn't have breakfast with the spawns of hell and only stayed in the moon garden until this night. She was also using the moonlight to strengthen her perception of her powers and even increase her mental power capacity.
It had been two days since she met Prime, and as that dragon said, he didn't call for her again. Zenesha understood that they could only meet again if she indeed initially controlled her powers and the Spirit Shackles.
After she pondered it, she came to the conclusion that, aside from Prime being cautious, his intentions were truly meant to test her capability. It was like testing if she really was fit to help him and not only become a burden.
In this, Zenesha was more glad than angry. She also thought that it did make sense. She might be more wary if Prime had only helped her and immediately made her find what he was looking for. Since it only meant that he really wanted her help on something important to him and not because he was playing with her because he was bored.
Zenesha, having an ability, was more reliable than the clueless her and could truly be of help with his matters.
She emptied her mind and let herself concentrate on the warmth of the moonlight. She also discovered during these two days that once he was already in this state, the moonlight really seemed warmer, as though it were the sunlight. However, the difference was that it wasn't painful to the skin but instead was gentle, and it made her comfortable.
It also seemed her body was being nurtured from the inside, as though the moonlight was cleaning her impurities and, in turn, purifying the divinity within her blood.
She thought that the theory that there was a divinity within the Wolf Queen's blood was something made up by those insane individuals from the Sorceress Cult and even the other evil organizations, as they wished to study divinity and attain godhood.
Now, Zenesha vaguely perceived that maybe they were right. There was really some divinity in her blood, and as she perceived her body and even her soul in this enhanced state by the moonlight, she could really see something different in her blood.
Even she couldn't observe them clearly, and they seemed to be full of symbolic symbols but nothing at the same time. It made her compare it to the Spirit Shackles as they were there but also invisible to the naked eye or even to the perception of most beings.
After perceiving that her blood had put her in a daze, she stopped and then shifted her senses to her soul. She couldn't clearly discern it in the truest sense, but from what she could 'see', her soul had some brilliance around it, and if one observed closely, some parts were dim, which formed some lines that looked like black marks that blemished the pure soul.
Zenesha's brow furrowed; it seemed they were the influence of the Spirit Shackles in her soul. It not only made her imprisoned and restricted her movements in this body, but it also could corrupt her soul.
Was this also part of her punishment? If so, it was indeed very vicious. Not only did they want her to die in this body, but they also seemed to have plans for her corrupted soul.
She was furious, but it didn't show in her expression, and even her state was not interrupted. Anger would not help her; if she was capable of this emotion, she was even more capable of hiding it deeper in her heart and maintaining her composure. As an assassin and a hunter, her patience was incomparable to the average person.
Instead of being overwhelmed by her killing intent, she continued her observations of her soul. And through it, she also confirmed that, like her blood, it also contained some divinity, but unlike her blood, it was more suppressed and controlled by the Spirit Shackles.
If she didn't perceive her divinity in her blood, there was no way she could notice it either. With her observation, she understood that her soul and the divinity contained within it had a powerful seal. She didn't know if it was the Spirit Shackles as well. However, she immediately rejected the thought. It was more concealed, and even though she wanted to probe, she had the nagging feeling that she wouldn't be able to do so.
It seemed that before, Zenesha didn't notice them. She had already noticed the Spirit Shackles earlier on; though she couldn't 'see' them, she was aware that they exist. However, now she has also discovered another seal in her soul!
Perhaps, since Prime weakened the Spirit Shackles on her, it helped her notice this seal. She wondered if he also noticed this seal in her soul. Should she ask him about it after they meet again? However, it also made her wonder: Why did her soul have divinity as well?
"Your majesty," someone called her, and her state disappeared. Zenesha nearly cursed; her perception was only in its crucial stage, and this servant acts up!
Of course, pure Zenesha wouldn't be mad at these little things, even with how intensely she complains inside. She still couldn't influence her so much, and even if she wanted to interfere with her thoughts to reprimand the attendant, it would only lead to failure. Since it must be in line with her character, and pure Zenesha never gets mad.
Zenesha opened her eyes, turned around, and faced the attendant who disturbed her.
'It's Anika, of course, it's always this bitch.' she grumbled inside, her composure and patience were being tested again and again.
"What is it, Anika?" pure Zenesha asked, still gentle and graceful with each word she uttered, and it even seemed to resonate in her surroundings, enchanting those who could hear.
In fact, that was really the case. As a Wolf Queen, and with her powerful abilities and divinity, the natural elements in the surroundings would really be disturbed by her voice alone. However, this couldn't be easily noticed by the naked eye unless they were perceptive enough or had gifts in this domain.
Anika was mesmerized at first before bowing her head, not daring to even look at Zenesha's face. It was like the natural instincts of a lower being.
"Y-Your Majesty, Lord Ravino has given a message that he is already on his way here to meet you," she informed while slightly trembling in her voice and maintaining her head bowed.
Instantly, if she could already control this body, Zenesha's expression would probably already be twisted.
'What is he meeting me for?' Zenesha exclaimed, somewhat distraught. She didn't want to see him or even anyone in the spawns of hell!
Since she didn't know Ravino's reason, she could only increase her guard. After all, letting pure Zenesha hide from these male leads was simply impossible. In a way, her existence itself revolved around them, and there was no way she could interfere at this stage.
