Chapitre 12: Chapter 12: The Sanguine Woman

Somehow, Colette was even more nervous than before. She felt her guts twisting with butterflies as she tried to nap during the night, unable to rest, simply going through the events of a few days ago in her head.

Rosie was gone. Taken. God only knew what they were doing to her, the poor thing must be terrified out of her mind. But Colette didn’t have time to wallow in her feelings, and she had to bottle away the idea that it was her fault.

She had a meeting to get to. Colette gathered her courage, and changed into the black dress and the accessories from before. She adjusted the heels a little bit, but everything seemed to fit perfectly. She didn’t even need all that much makeup, just a touch of eyeshadow and eyeliner and lipstick complimented the look.

By the time she was done touching up her hair and her makeup, it was time for her and Nora to get going. She exited her room and found Nora waiting, wearing a suit with a loose tie and nice black shoes.
