Ryu Azh Darhan was the heir of the famous Azh Group, one of the leading forces supporting the country's politics and finances. He was raised in an empty, cold house after his mother and other members of his race perished 100 years ago. Back then, he was only an 18 years old boy, a child in the Dragon's life. He and his father survived that incident out of pure luck. His dad even went ballistics to the news, but a friend sacrificed herself to keep him in control and not be eliminated by the authorities. So his father's grief pilled up more. He changed his tactics to make his roots deep run in the country and gain influence behind the scenes. They concealed their identity by acting as different fathers and sons of the Azh Group during that period. Now his father was the third generation of the Azh Darhan family, and he was the youngster of it. This time, he played an unruly teenager who made trouble left and right. They started to look forward to a better future, but his father discovered that there were no other dragons in this world.
His father went insane. He lost every common ground to avenge his enemies. He set up a research institute to develop a breeding method. He used different races and ways to create the best tool for reproduction. Kaveh was among them. His father managed to inject him with a dragon stone. However, they did not consider that the dragon stone's power was unforeseeable. The end for them was an utter catastrophe. He thought everything was a goner, but Yesterday, he found himself revived in the past, way Before he met Kaveh and all of the tragedy.
The first thing he did was locate Kaveh. In his previous life, he had no recollection of when Kaveh woke up from his coma, so he came here to check he was okay. But Kaveh's attitude towards him was a little unusual. According to the nurses, Kaveh had lost some of his memories and had been unstable for a while. The doctor said his blackout wasn't about him but because of his excessive training. He wanted to see Kaveh one more time before leaving, yet the arrival of the two boys made him change his mind.
One was Edwin, Kaveh's Achilles' heel, and the other was the murderer of him and his father. It took everything in his power not to attack Noah. Most disconcerting to him was that these two were associated with one another. In his past life, they were strangers. He wanted a good relationship with Kaveh's brother, but Edwin looked at him with daggers. He was sure that they would not get along anytime soon. Therefore It was better not to lick his boots and act as a rebellious teenager.
"I am seventeen! Who the hell are you to meddle in our affairs? Let's see who's got a better attorney to take each other to court. "
Dena was eager to give him a piece of her mind, but the wolf didn't let her.
'Calm down. Fighting with Ryu in here wouldn't do us any good.'
Noah watched the angry faces of Edwin and Ryu and knew that a storm was brewing.
' I had my hands full, keeping Edwin's temper in check. Now another one showed up!'
"Oh, you're finally here. Come on in. Your brother was expecting you."
A nurse opened the door of Kaveh's bedroom while saying that. Her arrival put an end to the tension between them. But when she noticed Ryu, she pointed to him.
" How come you're still here? Don't you feel ashamed for what you did to Kaveh? I bet you were the one who put him in this state for the first time too."
Dena's conscious hurt. 'Actually, I put him in the hospital bed.'
Well, she couldn't say that out loud. However, having someone else scold Ryu was not a bad feeling.
Before Ryu could open his mouth to clear up the misunderstanding, Dena took Noah's hand and fled into the hall while shutting the door to Ryu's face. His swift action dumbfounded Ryu.
Dena took a deep breath and strolled into the bedroom. Kaveh had a face as white as the sheets. She threw herself into bed. "Kaveh, are you alright? What happened?"
"Now I am fine. I got impatient and practised a little too much."
He responded in a hoarse voice. Dena held him tight and whispered in his ear." Have no fear. I am here. I protect you from him and those bad guys."
Kaveh's eyes widened,' How did you find out? You always could read my mind. In my past life, you warned me multiple times about the danger lurking in the dark too. I was an idiot for not believing in you.'
Tears began to roll off his face. He wasn't on his own. His brother was standing like a mountain behind him. Kaveh had a glimpse of Noah standing further back in the room.
"Noah, thank you for keeping your promise to me for the second time."
Kavah looked at Noah with gratitude. Noah was bewildered, 'what was the first time? '
"We need to change the hospital. I no longer trust this hospital to be safe. Noah, what's your suggestion?"
Dena questioned him seriously. "Let me call my assistance."
Edwin's presence brought peace and security to Kaveh. His eyelids became heavy, and he dozed off.
Dena rose from the bed and waved to Noah to leave the bedroom.
"You know that boy out there?"
"Yes, he comes from a well-known family in the capital. He is the definition of bad news. He is an unpredictable person. With his powerful father, no one dared to report his mistakes while growing up. I wondered what brought him here. Would you say he was an online friend of Kaveh's? "
Noah asked Edwin thoughtfully.
"No, I think he's here because of a different reason. Anyway, My wolf doesn't like him one bit. "
" Your wolf? "
" It's complicated to explain. All you should know is that my wolf has a keen instinct to distinguish between the enemy and the friend."
"Similar to my brother?"
"What was that?"

They were in the middle of a brainstorm when the sound of a dispute reached their ears.
"Why the hell are you here?"
Ryu's angry voice was a thunderstorm shattering their eardrums. Dena opened the door to see Ryu get a hold of Jack's collar.
'Well, well... a fight between two rivals. '
