Chapitre 9: Chapter 9: testing new spells
Miquella woke up at the first rays of light the next day.
'wow, so much happened yesterday.' Miquella thought
'Alright, I need to get going. With Odin's advice I think I can make it work.'
And so Miquella got ready, ate breakfast and went to the dungeon.
This will be his second dive.

"Alright, so I need to-" Miquella talked to himself while making his spell
Right now he is on the fourth floor so kobolds started to appear one after another.
Then the next moment they pounced at Miquella, three in number.
"Alright it's done!! Took longer then expected but it's worth it." He said to himself before a golden spear appeared above his head. Its tip facing the three kobolds rushing towards Miquella.
"Cleave"
And with a single command, the spear rushed to the kobold leading the party, slicing him in half vertically. The other two, seeing this decided to retreat immediately. But the spear was faster. After slicing the first one, it went to the next one almost instantly. The kobold not even given the chance to defend had a hole thru his heart.
Then the spear spinned to the last kobold in a curving line from the one that was pierced. When it arrived the kobold at least tried to defend himself but failed, resulting in his beheading.
Miquella stood there, his right hand out for controlling his new weapon. He had a satisfied smile on his face.
"This is way better than I thought!! Wow! let us continue onward, my trusty spear!!" Miquella talking to himself went onward. Oblivious to the fact that someone was there to witness the event with shock filled eyes.
'Lady Freya will be quite pleased with this recording.' He thought while continuing following the youth.

"Hmm, so this is the 5th floor. The colour changed. Will there be new monsters? I only encountered some kobolds and goblins till now so I'm kind of curious." He said.
After he walked for a while he saw a group running up to him. They were mainly of kobolds and goblins again but this time there was a shadowy figure right behind the group.
"Finally!! A new monster!!" He screamed before pulling his hand back with his palm facing upward.
'about 20 monsters, excluding the new one. Let's see how many will survive this attack.' He thought while simultaneously firing a ring of light, killing 70% of the monsters.
At the end you could see that the shadow successfully blocked the attack, but it didn't fade.
Then with a wave of his hand the ring stared to return on the same path. Taking the leftover monsters off guard and killing them all.
"Yeah, as I thought. These basic mobs will not satisfy me anymore." He said out loud with a red glint in both his eyes.
Then the shadow and Miquella had a stare down
Then the shadow rushed at Miquella. Miquella created a longsword but this time instead of the usual golden colour, half of it was coloured crimson red.
He swung the sword but the shadow managed to guard it.
But then a golden-red spear pierced the shadow from behind. The shadowy figure took a shocked expression and looked at Miquella.
Then he explained.
"You see, I've been an adventurer for only 1 day. And I can say that my stats are way too low for this floor. But it also gives me a high return, that's why I'm here. So instead of brute forcing my way thru all of you, I can just play it smart.
I never would have duelled you fairly, 9/10 I would die. Since you seem to be a speed type, I am in a clear disadvantage. So when I threw my ring, I also threw my spear behind you when you were blocking my attack.
You were too occupied with blocking that you didn't even notice. and now here we are. You at my mercy. Strong kneeling to the weak. Oh! I should test out my left side then, while I have the chance."
Miquella ended his explanation and everyone who saw and heard it had shivers running down their spines.
'He's a monster!! Thinking like that. And his magic is powerfull too.' The observer thought.
"Now let's see. To use blood oath magic is equivalent to hurting the real body of the blood-mother. These wounds will then materialise in the waking world. So let's start with a scratch." He said before proceeding.
He put his left hand in the air, pointing his fingers outward, towards the shadow. Then he swiped down diagonally. Leaving a red claw mark behind. And immediately after that the claw-mark burst into red flames. Burning the shadow.
*SCREEEEECH*
The creature howled in pain. Before finally dying.
"Well, that's something... let's poke the next one." He said before continuing onward.

This time Miquella found himself on the 7th floor. surrounded by killer ants.
"Well, I'm proceeding quite nicely. Although it keeps getting harder and harder the deeper I go. Even now I have some problems. And I'm almost out of mana... or mind as they call it." He mumbled to himself.
"Oh well."
The next moment he poked his left hand right above his head. And a red ripple was created.
Then he retracted his hand that was now clenched in a fist with a ball of blood in it.
He then threw the ball at the ants.
When it landed on the ants they started to burn, some even exploding in blood.
Then he proceeded to make a great-sword with his left hand, the sword coloured in crimson red.
He swung it, killing some ants in the process and then it fired a projectile to the group of ants. Opposite of where he threw the blood.
And like last time, some started to burn, some explode. And Miquella stood in the middle of it with a happy smile as if he was taking a stroll in the park.
Now he was starting to walk to the 8th floor.
'one more floor and then I think I'll hit my limit.' He thought
Although Miquella looks bloodthirsty right at the moment, he still kept a level head. Not taken in by his instincts to inflict more suffering on the monsters.
'Is this what I get for using her power? AHH. So troublesome.' With a sigh he arrived at the entrance and went inside.
After walking for a few minutes he started to get suspicious.
'Hmm? That's weird. I should already have encountered some monsters. Where are they?' He thought before hearing something in the distance.
"WHAAAAAAAAAH-"
"Hmm? A scream? Looks like someone died... Let's check it out."
With his decision made he started walking to the direction of the scream.

When Miquella arrived at the room the scream originated from, He was shocked. The room was full of killer ants. And a lone girl backed against the wall with the ants crawling on her.
'Hmm? That looks like trouble. Do I help, ,or leave her?' He asked himself, but then he heard it.
"FIREBOOLT!!"
The next moment a fire javelin was fired from a white-haired boy. Clearing the ants that were towering the girl.
'I see, Bell's here too'
Then he stood against the horde of ants starting to crawl to him.
'... Well I guess I could help a little bit'
He summoned his spear in his golden colour and threw it in Bell's direction.
When it landed, it pierced an ant that was approaching Bell from a blindspot. Shocking Bell.
He then commanded that his spear returned. Upon returning he hopped on his spear before flying to bell's location.
"Well, Well. Looks like you need my help once again, Bell." He said to Bell
And Bell looked at him in disbelief.
"WHA- What are you doing here!? Miquella!"

YEAH!! I HAD SOME TIME TODAY!! WHOOOO.
Also I will be beginning another project after I eat some 'spaghetti'. It will be another Danmachi novel but this time starring 'Levi Ackerman'. I chose Danmachi again cuz I didn't rly know in which other world he would fit in and in my mind, Danmachi would always pop-up again.
I first thought of overlord, but I have something else planned for that already soo ye. My mind is full of idea's. Already starting new novel idea's but I haven't started yet with my other novels. hehe
So ye expect first chapter today. But that's about it.
