Chapitre 147: Forget The Promise?

Tavern looked away from the portrait with a puzzled look and shook his head.

"No! I was just drawn to her beauty. Who is she?" like a fool, she swooned over the picture when the knights frowned.

"That is none of your business. Leave this instant." They were already tired of looking for the strange woman and now they have to deal with a pervert too.

It was a bad day. But they have realized why the princess wanted her as her governess. The woman has a striking resemblance to the first wife of your grace.

She must have seen her mother in this woman. Though they all hate Cassey for being a criminal, Penny was still her daughter.

Tavern stared at the portrait one more time with narrowed eyes before leaving from there. 

He hummed an unknown tune with his hands in his pocket as he walked away but his eyes were so sharp. He was looking at the passersby and paused in front of two men who were gossiping at the carriage stop.
