Chapitre 382: A Counterfeit.

Ana kept walking at the only path she could see but it was full of darkness and there was no sign of Rowan.

"Rowan." she whispered again, as if she was afraid. If she shouted her name, the ghosts of his nightmare would come for her before she could find the child.

The smog was covering the whole tunnel and she wondered what Rowan's fear was!

"Bohhooo" only when Ana crossed the tunnel did she hear the sound of crying. 

"Rowan, are you there?" she screamed in a loud voice when the voice of crying ceased.

She heard the sound of steps on her left. But the steps were fading away as if the crying person was leaving.

She ran into that direction, hoping to find the child.

"Let go of me. I.. I am not a threat to their position anymore." Ana paused when she saw disheveled Rowan held by two knights. Their faces looked familiar and they were wearing the uniform of their duchy. But they were holding Rowan's arm roughly and beating him.
