Adrienne could only watch as Gavin helplessly cried over his dead son, feeling a deep sense of sadness and despair. She couldn't help but feel guilty for tearing the father and son apart with her actions. If only she had paid more attention to Dylan, he wouldn't have died with her. 

Adrienne felt an ominous chill run down her spine as she realized the weight of her negligence. In a daze, she looked at the father-son pair. She saw the devastation in their eyes, knowing that her actions had irreversibly shattered the possibility of them being together. 

She then turned her attention to her husband. Adrienne tried to touch him, but her hand went through him as if she were nothing but a ghost. She realized that she was now truly alone. 

Lennox couldn't see her, and she wondered how she had led his life when their paths had never crossed in this lifetime. Was he happy? Did he marry someone else and lead a fulfilling life without her? She couldn't help but wonder.
