Adrienne wasn't sure what to feel knowing that her time to spend with Lennox and his siblings were running out. She didn't doubt Lennox when he said he'd return to her as soon as he could, but she knew it would take a very long time. Lennox's feelings for her might wane during that time. She tried to convince herself that it didn't matter, that it would be better if Lennox found a better woman than her, but her treacherous heart was unwilling to listen.

Now that they had managed to secure Scarlett's custody, only Lennox's twin brothers were left for her to meet.
