Adrienne was pleased with the outcome of her visit to the Zhao family. Now that her Uncle Reese was stepping forward, willing to transfer her mother to another hospital, Camilla would surely think twice before scheming against her mother again. She would be wary of bribing another person to hurt Rosemary now that the Zhao family was involved.

However, this recent visit also opened her eyes to the possibility of her older brother's fate. If he were truly dead, then Adrienne would seek revenge for him, but if there's a chance he managed to live, then she could only hope that he was leading a better life than her.

"Are you sure you don't want me to send you home instead? I would like to see how the Jiang family treats you with my own eyes." Reese asked as he walked with Adrienne, sending her off.
