"Are you alright? Show me your foot." Elias asked in a cool tone, he looked like a typical husband worried for his wife who had fallen on the floor. Abigail choked in some tears, "it hurts, it hurts a lot." Abigail said choking on her voice.

The people in the hall were surprised by Elias's care for his wife, they had thought it was just a marriage of convenience that was popular in the high class but seeing this gave them another thought.

Lucy was hot worse by what had just happened, she had expected Elias to scold his wife for spilling the drink on her but instead, he was worried about his woman. "Young master, your wife spilled wine on me on purpose. Tell her to apologize please, my clothes are ruined" Lucy said taking in a deep breath.

She tried to narrow his attention towards her and remove it from his wife, "My wife sprained her ankle, dis I ask for an apology for you?" Elias asked coldly his cold gaze making her shudder where she stood.
