Chapitre 289: Park Hazards, Part 1

So, pro tip…a flame mage against a fire monster, that's doable. The same fire caster going up against a kelpie or a Pegasus doesn't work. Uh-uh. 

"Will!" yelled Andromeda, the pink-haired, pointy-eared Amazon I'd rescued back at the Warrior's Way. "I have you!" 

Yeah, I had just jumped off the now-burning Pegasus that I'd accidentally set ablaze with a simple 'Firebolt' spell that got caught in the 'Tornado' the Pegasus had begun casting with its wings. And since the Pegasus, with me riding shotgun, had flown up to the fifty-foot ceiling to avoid my hastily made fire team of Liara, Andromeda, AM Sybil, and Talia—the blonde half-elf Amazon—from capturing it, I was now free-falling toward the turf of the magic jousting arena without a parachute to slow my descent. 

Luckily, Andromeda was an aurai. The air nymph flew up on a breeze of hot air and caught me about midway from falling to my doom. 

"Got you!" Andromeda said as her arms wrapped around me.
