Chapitre 8: Chapter 7: School Trip
It has been two days Since meeting superman, and I am at school in English class. Sleeping In class I'm woken up by my teacher Ms. Sweetie and then she says "Are we awake now Jason" now awake I say "yes" Ms. Sweetie turns her attention back to the class he says "all right class back to what I was saying we will be going on a 3-day trip to Metropolis city (Note: some maps say Metropolis is in Illinois), and one of the places we will be going to is the daily plant. We will take a tour and interview employees and reporters."
Hearing this the class was divided some seemed excited, some looked disappointed, and the rest did not care, only glad they are getting to leave the building and not go to school for a couple of days. The bell rang right as Ms. Sweetie finished talking, getting up and grabbing my stuff as fast as I could. I ran to my last class. It was gym class heading to the locker rooms with my other classmates to change into our gym clothes.
Arriving at the gym I see the teacher standing in the middle with a basketball. Once he gets most of the students he says "Today we will be playing Basketball" holding up the ball. He then picks two students at random to be captains for each team. I was picked for the red team and the red team was subpar compared to the blue team. Not wanting to lose I discreetly began to use my powers here and there to give us an advantage for example when going for a rebound against a taller player I would enhance myself to be able to jump higher.
After a close game, my team lost by two points after one of the players from the other team hit a clutch mid-range shot. After finishing the basketball game, gym class was over and with that school was over. Heading to the locker room to switch back to my regular clothes hoping to Sammy outside, if not I would head home. Walking outside, I don't see Sammy not wanting to wait on him I head home before going on patrol.
Walking through my house door knowing my mom was not there I took out my permission slip and put it on the kitchen counter. I then made my way to my room to drop off my bag and then changed into my hero suit. After changing into my suit, I headed to my window and opened it up. Making my way through the window I start to fly around the city trying to find a crime to stop see or find.
After flying for a while my hearing picks up the sounds of destruction, heading there I see that there is a giant robot destroying buildings, picking up cars, and throwing them, and it was using wrist-mounted laser beams. Not gonna lie when I saw that it was a giant robot, I got excited as I only saw them in the news in other Citys or in my past life. Getting my own robot to fight was cool.
Using my telekinetic senses to see if the robot was piloted by a human or not, finding out that the robot was not human-piloted. I flew at supersonic speed grabbing the arm with the laser and ripping it from the body. Using the robot arm I use it as a bat to destroy the other arm. Deciding I wanted to use my energy to recreate an anime move, holding both my hands together to form a gun I let the energy build up at the tip of my fingers. Finishing charging, I yell "SPIRIT GUN" releasing the energy at the robot and blasting a huge gaping hole in it.
Descending down to the ground I see the robot has wires extruding out of the hole. Looking like the robot was destroyed I go to leave but before that, I go to the arm with the laser and rip the laser from the arm.
With the laser in hand, I fly back home hoping my mom would be on her way home. Reaching home at superspeed I enter through my window and change out of my hero clothes. Going to the living room to watch tv, and once I turn on the tv the news channel is on "again the city of Detroit is saved again by Paragon" a news reporter says. Flipping through the channels to find ones I like I hear a key entering our front door, knowing it's mom I wait for her to walk in.
Seeing her walk in I say "hey mom how was work" mom says "work was exhausting Jason" before she heads upstairs to her room I tell her "mom on the kitchen table there is a permission slip I need you to sign" mom nods at me halfway up the stairs.
Seeing my mom looking tired I decided to cook dinner myself.
-2 hours later-
After finishing cooking, I made a roasted chicken with sauteed vegetables and a side of mashed potatoes. Calling my mom down for dinner I grab plates and utensils. Setting up the table mom comes down and sits, seeing what I made mom says smiling "Wow Jason you made all this" I said, "yes, those cooking classes paid off".
After eating dinner, I say "mom, sign my permission slip right now so we can get it over it" mom getting a pen "where are y'all going" I say "metropolis" mom says "cool" finishing signing the paper. Grabbing the paper and went to my room then put the slip in my bag.
Talking to myself I say, "In two days my grade is going to metropolis, there I will give superman my answer to being his apprentice". Seeing It was still and was not tired I went to play video games in the living room before going to my room to sleep for the night.
