Chapitre 41: ~KILLER BOYS~

Kate had been too absorbed in fitting in, that she had failed to observe a set of people. It was either she wasn't there when they were there or they were not there when she was there, that was usually the case. She only heard distant rumors of them, Killer Boys.

One fatefull day during break, Kate went to the cafeteria. She was not yet familiar with foreign foods and especially food from the cafeteria, so she carried Nigerian delicases prepared by herself. Kate walked into the cafeteria and her eyes spotted a particular table which she walked to and sat down. She said her prayers and opened her food to eat, but then she felt like all eyes were on her. She looked up from her food, but it seemed she was imagining it. No one was looking at. Kate adjusted her seating position and picked her spoon to eat the jollof rice before her. And there it was again, the intensity of the eyes on her. Did it matter? Let them all stare, she thought as she picked her spoon to eat.
