In YGGDRASIL, Races are separated into 3 types, which are:
-𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐇𝐮𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐨𝐢𝐝 𝐑𝐚𝐜𝐞𝐬. These are the races of Men that you ought to be familiar with. Such as Humans, Elves, Dwarves, and the like. They are generally not quite strong but can achieve wonders in their lifetime.
Due to them being the majority, they possess certain racial privileges that others might never enjoy.
-𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐃𝐞𝐦𝐢-𝐇𝐮𝐦𝐚𝐧 𝐑𝐚𝐜𝐞𝐬. These are Men who could also be called Beast as they are far from being called civilized and are far more intuned with their primal urges than the races of Men.
Examples of Demi-Humans include Orcs, Goblins, Ogres, Beastmen, Kobolds, Giants, Minotaurs, and the like.
They possess more natural power than Humanoids but still suffer from the same troubles like the need for food and rest, they also have lower lifespans than Humanoids.
-𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐇𝐞𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐨𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐩𝐡𝐢𝐜 𝐑𝐚𝐜𝐞𝐬. These are the races of Monsters. Beings that are universally recognized as Inhuman and unnatural, they are too far removed from the natural world that they can never be called Man or Beast.
Such Monsters include Dragons, Demons, Angels, Golems, Slimes, Undead, Vegetation, Aberrations, Spirits, and much more.
They possess far more natural power than the other types but are more likely to face a rather hard life due to discrimination.
Which of these types do you hail from, Childe?
𝐃𝐞𝐯 𝐍𝐨𝐭𝐞: We do not promote racial discrimination, but it is sadly a necessary part of world-building.

"Wait, I can play as fucking Dragon!?" I asked in pure surprise and giddy joy.
[Sadly not, while Dragons are a part of the Heteromorphic Races, they are still currently unplayable as they are far too powerful for beginners to wield]
"Too bad..." I had a dream, and that was to fly and breathe fire from my mouth and nostrils as a kidnap of a random princess from some castle.
Too bad it wasn't possible.
Humanoids were pretty basic so I skipped them and went ahead to the Beasties. Demi-Humans look cool and are probably fun to play as, but the fact that it was basically the choice for those who wanted to be the monsters yet didn't wanna face the tribulations of being one appalled me.
So I chose Heteromorphic.

"Hmm... Dragonoid seems pretty cool..." I leaned into that option.
[𝐃𝐫𝐚𝐠𝐨𝐧𝐨𝐢𝐝𝐬: are a race of Heteromorphs native to almost all of the Nine Worlds, except for Helheim and Asgard. They are said to be Dragons in humanoid form, which is quite close to the truth as they are actually -𝐑𝐄𝐃𝐀𝐂𝐓𝐄𝐃-.
They possess the ability to shapeshift between 2 forms, their Humanoid one and their Draconic one. They are much stronger in their Draconic form but are inflicted with permanent Dracorage, which is a much more severe version of Berserk. The only way to escape the Dracorage state is by losing 75% of their total health or by the use of a powerful mind-altering item]
He silently considered the race as an image of a generic Dragonoid appeared beside the info screen.
He decided to look at the other races first before making any hasty decisions, next was the Demon race.
Actually never mind, he wasn't 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 edgy.
"What about the Undead?"
[𝐔𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐚𝐝: is a broad term used for a collection of various Heteromorphic Races. Those who are called 'Undead' were once former living beings who died but were brought back to the material realm with the use of Necromantic Magics.
They are immune to the various mortal needs, like food and water, they do not tire nor do they fear. They also do not have a limited lifespan due to the fact that they were never alive to begin with.
Undead Races include Zombies, Skeletons, Ghouls, Liches, Mummies, Ghosts, Wights, and many others.
Vampires, even though they can be considered dead and lifeless, cannot be called a member of the Undead. This is due to the fact that Vampires are the way they are because of -𝐑𝐄𝐃𝐀𝐂𝐓𝐄𝐃-]
"Yeah, I'm not looking to become bald anytime soon... Now how about the Angels?" I asked.
Demons were a quite popular choice when it came to being playable races, but this was the first time I had ever seen a game that actually lets you play as an Angel. So I was quite intrigued.
[𝐀𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐥𝐬: are a race of Extra-Planar Heteromorphs. They are not native to the Nine Worlds but rather originate from a mysterious dimension beyond the World Tree called '𝐇𝐄𝐀𝐕𝐄𝐍'. Angels are beings with a strict sense of morality and justice, They would never let any act of evil go unpunished.
Angels have a strong affinity to any Element that is considered 'Good' by the masses, such as light and Holy. Although they have a strong aversion to any 'Evil' Element such as Darkness and Curse.
Angels are the natural enemies of Demons, so forming a bond of more than 50% with a Demon is said to be impossible]
This was quite a decent choice so I kept it for later and decided to check out the other 2 valid options for me.
[𝐕𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐬: Are a race of Heteromorphs native to Midgard, Helheim, and Niflheim. They are creatures of Darkness and Death, and they revel in the suffering of others. Vampires are immortal in terms of Lifespan so as long as they continue to consume Blood.
A Vampire's greatest weakness is the Light Element as they will be severely weakened in the presence of sunlight, some might even start burning.
Their hearts contain the core of their strength, as long as it beats, they will remain immortal and undying]
This description was a better love story than Twilight.
Anyways...
[𝐈𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐝𝐬: Also sometimes called Mindflayers or Brain Eaters are a Heteromorphic race from outside The World Tree, they originated from the -𝐑𝐄𝐃𝐀𝐂𝐓𝐄𝐃-
They are the most naturally adept Psykers in the entirety of the Nine Worlds. This is because they -𝐑𝐄𝐃𝐀𝐂𝐓𝐄𝐃-

"Huh, what the hell is with all of the Redactions? Like I can't glean any info from this..." I wondered.
"Now, what Race should I choose?" I started considering all of the pros and cons of each race as I scanned all the other descriptions, except for the Demon one of course.
The Ilithid article was definitely filled with way too many Redactions but all of the other Aberations seem to follow this trend... Heck, The entire Beholder article was completely censored!
After some thinking, he concluded that Angels were the best option. Others might disagree but It was his choice and no one could or would want to force him to change it.

"Yes," The Moment those words were uttered, what seemed to be a Knight in pristine white armor with a pair of angelic feathery wings attached to his back appeared in front of me.
