As the Armored Bloodworm's monstrous head loomed over the small party, the gears in Mazi's mind were spinning rapidly.

'Damnit Mazi, think!' He scolded himself.

It was his decision that had led the crew into this perilous predicament and it was now his responsibility to get them out.

Unbeknownst to Mazi, he did not need to put himself under such pressure. He had well underestimated the capabilities of his comrades.

Even in such a grim situation, no one panicked. Every single one of the practitioners in the party was fully aware of the Bloodworm's flaws and strengths, including its echolocation skill.

They also knew that the only way to escape from this ordeal alive was to keep still and not even dare to move.

Even when the Armored Bloodworm got within as near as two meters, everyone stood their ground.

The seconds ticked on tediously as the monstrous beast proceeded with its noxious inspection.
