"It has to be," Mihael paused. "How are our thrusters?"
Space was vast. And there were many planets capable of hosting life. But few were inhabited by intelligent life. Fewer, more capable than humans.
"All dead sir," answered the R.I. "We're completely stranded with no power other than life support."
"Perfect," Mihael said. "Hail them."
Hail? Hail who?
There was no one or nothing out there. Just dead, life less planets and empty space.
Or so it seemed.
"They're already hailing us, my lord," the R.I said.
"Let them through."
