Of all the things Ryan expected to hear from Corey, he never expected to hear him ask for help. To Ryan, Corey gave off the aura of a genius who believed they could achieve everything on their own and would never ask for help.
He was also such a genius, and he rarely asked his peers for help.
However, despite his shock and disbelief, Ryan already knew his answer to Corey's request.
"Absolutely not."
Ryan vehemently shook his head, and Corey sighed softly. He had expected such a reaction from Ryan.
"What is your goal? What do you hope to achieve in the Shattered Sea?"
Ryan raised his brows when he heard Corey's question, and then he furrowed his brows in confusion.
"Why are you asking such a question?"
Corey shrugged nonchalantly, "I was thinking I could help you with your goal if it's within my capabilities… You help me reach the top of the Eternal Waterfall, I help you with your goal."
So, I think I'm going to try and speed up the plans I have for the Underworld so that we can progress with the novel.
A lot, and I mean a lot still has to happen. We haven't even reached the most important part of the story, and for that to happen, Corey needs to leave the Underworld.
I'm not very proficient in reducing the amount of information that's meant to be in a chapter, but I believe with time, I'll be able to do it.
I'll try to bring the Arc of the Shattered Dimension to a close as early as possible so that the story is not prolonged.
