Beatrice stared at her husband with a weak smile, wondering what she did to deserve a man as patient, loving, and as kind as he is. 

He had always made sure to be there for her, even at moments she doesn't need him, he made sure to be around her so if perhaps she accidentally slack or fall, he would be right behind her to cheer her back on her feet again. 

She would thank God for him - Stephen - her husband. God giving her a man like him maybe was already so much grace, mercy, and love from him - God - and that was why he took her daughter as a trade for the world's best husband. 

People said marriage was hard and was no bed of roses but believe her, her life with Stephan was more sweet and comfortable than lying on a bed of roses.
