Chapitre 148: Damsel In Distress

Long shadows were cast by the city's buildings as everyone started to disappear from the streets. Even here in the northern region of the city, no one wanted to be wandering around at night. 

Easthill had caught quite a number of cultists by now, but there could always be more wandering about in the darkness.

Joff, however, wasn't too worried about this. He even hoped to encounter one.

He was confident enough in his fighting skills to take one on in a duel and was also certain he'd be able to run or hold off until help arrived if he ran into a group of them. 

As such, he didn't bother to wait in the inn he was staying at.

After gathering up his supplies Joff headed for the door once more. There was a tavern area on the bottom floor of the inn, and it was still packed with people.

A few gave the young man odd looks as they watched him head out into the night, but no one tried to stop him.
