My jaw opened ever so slightly as I saw the mad gash adorning the center of her chest. Every inch of my body cringed in horror at the sight of the scar, if I could even call it that. If I would properly describe it, it was closer to an open wound that didn't even begin to heal properly.

"What the...." I heard Lise beside me whisper to herself, her tone being one of bafflement and amazement. "You shouldn't be alive..."

"I know~" Aria beamed with the pride of someone that shouldn't be happy with a half-healed scar like this. "It was a learning experience, but I managed to live, so it's fine~"

"That is not fine," I shook my head in both horror and amazement. "I can practically see your heart."

"Really?" the walking corpse wondered as if the subject of her grave condition was as basic as breathing air. "I could've sworn it never healed~"
