Chapitre 533: Dinner At Fuschia Garden

Liliana was as busy as a bee. In the days before her dinner with Dylan at Fuschia Garden restaurant, she accomplished a few of her goals.

After meeting Nadia, Liliana had lunch together with Old Madam Shen. Instead of going to see the old lady in the Shen family's ancestral home, they met at the Bamboo Cove restaurant in Whistling Creek.

Accompanied by the echoes of the breeze passing by the bamboo leaves and the rain hitting the ground, Liliana brought up the subject of her alimony. Old Madam Shen was caught in a daze after she mentioned that she wished to have it forfeited.

"I'm sorry, Grandma. I don't think I should keep receiving the alimony. I know you're thinking of my well-being."

Old Madam Shen's intention in giving the sky-high amount of alimony was to ensure Liliana's continuous survival. She understood full well that if something bad was to happen to the young lady and her sick mother, the Xin family might not assist them.
