"Those deep sets of yellow eyes remind me of that man; perhaps you're Ascreal's descendant?" Zeno asked as soon as the dark elf turned around to face him.

The elf knitted his brows at the mention of the name. After all, they, the dark elves, respected that name more than their lives, and it was not a common occurrence for someone to know that. It was the person who stood at the pinnacle of their race a long time ago. Though he fell during the demon's invasion, which caused their race to decline in numbers.

Despite this, his teachings were passed down to the next generation of dark elves, and he was treated like a divine being in their culture.

"Now, I'm curious about your existence for real; to speak our Lord's name in a casual manner, who are you?" The dark elf smiled and said. 

His previous expression disappeared as soon as he let go of his words. Then Zeno grinned before replying.

"You'll die once I tell you," he said, teasing the creature before his eyes.
