Chapitre 44: Chapter 43: The Backlash

Virin and Sriya were travelling in a carriage as the warm dusk sun rays painted their skin.

A while ago, the duo had almost met their end. But they were saved by Virin's awakening of some sort which had left Sriya baffled.

Virin was unaware of what had happened after he received the heavy blow from the hobgoblin and passed out.

"You don't know how it all happened, seriously?" questioned Sriya while looking at his face resting in her lap.

Although she had completely healed him, he still complained about severe headaches.

Virin looked at her face and said, "Why would I hide it from you?"

Then after thinking for a moment he said, "But since it has something to do with silk threads, we all know who it might be."

Sriya nodded and muttered, "Loona!"

"I think so too. She had previously told me, she could even help me in battles. I guess that's why she was adamant about wrapping us with her silk thread," he concluded.
