There are three. categories of Soul contracts, which a monster can initiate with another being.

The first one is the "Soul contract of Subservient or Submission."

As the name suggests, it's a contract of submission where the monster is willing to oblige by the will of the contracted person or their Master.

Such a monster will accept most of the commands by the person they have accepted as their Master.

But they still have free will, so they won't go ahead and die for such a person. They have their self-interest and would only work in exchange for something.

Most of the monster tamers use this type of contract to find themselves subordinate monsters and provide them with food, shelter, and protection.

Meanwhile, the tamers also have many sets of passive skill which helps the monster in becoming stronger.
