Chapitre 4: Minotaur
Onyx drew her hunting knife, knowing that this wouldn't be an easy fight for her, as the Minotaur was LVL.7 and she was only LVL.1. The Minotaur was a towering behemoth of rippling muscles and thick, matted fur. Its broad shoulders tapered down to a lean, powerful waist, and its legs were thick and sturdy, ending in cloven hooves that echoed ominously through the halls. But its head was truly its most fearsome feature. A massive, snarling bull's head sat atop its massive frame, with curling horns that curve outwards before tapering to sharp, deadly points.
The Minotaur's fur was a mottled mix of browns and blacks, blending together in a rough, unkempt pattern that served as excellent camouflage in the dungeon's dim light. Its eyes, set deep within the sockets of its bull's head, were of a piercing, bloodshot red that seemed to glow with fire. When the monster snarled, baring its teeth in a savage display of aggression, Onyx could smell its breath was hot and fetid.
If levels were an indicator of strength, the Minotaur was much stronger than Onyx. However, the Minotaur had its back against her, so she took this opportunity and stealthily approached the beast, before fiercely stabbing the enormous creature. It immediately turned around as it growled in pain. Blood flowed out of the gruesome wound left by Onyx's weapon. However, it seemed that one strike would not be enough to take it down.
The Minotaur charged towards Onyx with a fierce bellow, its muscles rippling as it swung its massive horns towards her. She dodged the attack and countered with a swift strike of her knife, but her blade only glanced off the monster's tough hide. The Minotaur howled in rage as it swung its fists towards Onyx, its strength enough to send her flying across the room. She landed on the ground with a painful thud, but quickly recovered and leapt to her feet, ready to face the beast once more.
As the fight continued, the girl realized that the Minotaur wasn't just strong, but also incredibly intelligent. It used its horns to block your attacks and its fists to pummel her, constantly shifting its tactics to keep its opponent off balance. She dodged and parried its attacks, striking back with her weapon whenever she could. Onyx started to see the Minotaur tiring. Its movements became slower, and its strikes less powerful. This was undoubtedly due to the large wound across its back, which was heavily bleeding. She took advantage of this and struck with all her might, your knife slicing through the air and striking the Minotaur's side.
The creature yelped in pain before staggering back, giving Onyx the opportunity to deliver a final blow. She raised your sword high and attacked with all her strength, her blade sinking deep into the Minotaur's flesh. With a final cry of rage, the beast collapsed to the ground, its massive body shaking the chamber as it falls. She caught your breath and looked at the defeated monster, its massive form now still and lifeless. "The only reason I won is because I took it by surprise", she thought. "I need to get stronger quickly." Suddenly, a blue screen appeared before her eyes.
