Chapitre 71: A Hobby That Comes at A High Price

When Nathan looked for Kylie and Bella in the stables, he saw Bella already sitting on Thunder's back. Bella leaned over the horse's head and whispered soft, coaxing words. One hand rubbed the horse's neck and the other held the reins. Nathan was stunned in disbelief.

  "How did you get him to ride without a fight?" he asked as he approached. Bella straightened up and smiled at Nathan. "He doesn't easily trust anyone other than his stableman hand." Nathan turned his head and found the man he was looking for standing not far from them, still with the bucket in his hand. "Isn't that right, Carl?"

  Carl, the stableman nodded. "That's right, sir. He only wanted to be ridden by me and the two workers who used to clean the stables. But Miss Ross conquered Thunder's heart with just one friendly greeting."
