Love can be seen bubbling up inside the blonde girl, and one could see the hope in her eyes.
Yasui was taken aback by the sudden confession of Ino Yamanaka! He could tell that the girl is serious too! But! Shouldn't she be confessing to Sasuke!?!? Did his existence in the Shinobi world already mess up one main character's love interest!?
Seeing Yasui stare at her in shock, Ino averted her gaze. Her sudden burst of courage plummeted as she said the next line: "W-will you be my boyfriend?"

Looking at the cute, still tomboyish Ino, Yasui wanted to accept. He knew that she would be a rare beauty in the future. However, he ain't got no time for that yet. Relationships are going to add weakness to the current him. He needed to focus on making himself stronger.
