When she falls down the hole, it's dark—very dark—and she feels pain all over her body. When Mo Hai hit something rough and jagged, she quickly realized that someone had saved her and that they had also fallen into the hole.
"Hello? Do you feel okay? Are you hurt?" Mo Hai enquired to the stranger in the pitch black.
***
A wounded deer was lying on the ground next to them on the jungle floor when a large tree fell right next to them. A few pieces of the broken tree fell beside him, and his antlers were bent backwards. Trees were scattered across the grassy floor like dominoes, creating a massive pit.
His stomach has a hole, perhaps from debris landing on him, and his side is severely bleeding.
Like everything around him, the poor thing is lifeless.
Even though she swore on her last breath that he was there, Mo Hai wanted to thank the kind stranger who had helped her out of the hole but all she could see was nothing behind her. Nevertheless, she had to live and didn't want to end up like the deer, which had a torturous death.
Mo Hai could only hope that this sad soul finds eternal peace in the afterlife.
As she suddenly remembered she was carrying a rucksack.
Although she placed heavy objects inside, it seems to be weightless; perhaps all the training was worthwhile after all.
Mo Hai discovered a cave nearby by carefully scanning the area for any potential threats. The cave is only a few meters—perhaps twenty meters—from the hole.
She approached it carefully and discovered that it was empty, which was fortunate because it appeared to be a small tunnel that would be difficult for anyone to enter unless they were really motivated to do so.
She is skinny and has been attempting to maintain the beauty standards, so she can fit inside.
Although the entrance is small, the interior is spacious enough to accommodate a whole troop or even more.
Mo Hai removes her luggage and unnecessary clothing, including her jacket, jeans, and socks, to reveal a simple tee and shorts underneath.
Mo Hai then lies down on the ground because the entry is quite low, the walls aren't very high, and they are horizontal.
She took a few deep breaths and started to push herself into the hole, but as soon as her head was halfway inside and the rest of her body is inside, a searing pain suddenly appeared in her ankle and she is unable to see what was causing it.
'Damn it, I think it's an ankle biter!' She muses as she looks at nothing, hoping it's only an ant passing by.
Maybe a little to much detail? I think I'm gonna be on writer’s block soon.
I'm using a paraphrasing tool to make my words look fancy but don't tell anyone my secret okay? _:(´ཀ`」 ∠):_
