As the three friends sat together, they could hear the soft hum of the AC in the background. The room was filled with the warm aroma of the soup, which made it feel cozy and inviting. The clink of spoons against bowls and the occasional slurping sound filled the air.

Suddenly, her eyes landed on a pair of red boxers, proudly labeled with the phrase "Alert! Sleeping Lion."

"Ooh la la, whose lucky pants are these?" Ashley quipped, holding up the offending undergarment.

Maria's face went as white as the soup she was holding. She snatched the boxers from Ashley, blurting out, "Uh, those are mine!"

The room fell silent, the only sound being the sound of Ashley's snickers as she tried to contain her laughter. Alisha and Julia couldn't help but giggle too, their shoulders shaking.

Julia leaned in to whisper to Maria, "Girl, I do the laundry, those are definitely not yours."
