"Almost," Ilyana smiled cheerfully back at him. "Now now, you know how expensive a human's life is, right cousin?"
Fearing the consequences of saying no, Samuel nodded his head urgently almost too quickly that his neck began to crack.
Smiling wistfully, Ilyana gently patted his back, "Good, I know you can do it. Learning basics of humans life isn't too difficult, trust me."
"S- So you forgive me?" Samuel begged, hoping this nightmare would end as his psychotic cousin would continue to haunt him, driving him almost to madness just for her own excitement.
"Forgive? Why should I forgive you?" Ilyana inquired to him with a tone of excitement as well as confusion. She drew her lips into a brighter smile and responded gently. "The people you should ask forgiveness isn't me, don't you agree?"
Samuel didn't know what she meant. Who else does he has to apologize to if it wasn't her?!
