Chapitre 110: Unruly Tears

Fiona recalled the first time she had met Ilyana. Diagnosed with an illness, her strict father had warned her that she should do anything to please Ilyana. Although her family is one of the wealthiest, her father didn't seem to have enough of the power he acquire. He claimed that there were that their family could achieve. His first plan to achieve it was to marry his wife, the woman who was a close friend to the head of Pandora Gang. 

Had her father ever really loved her mother? Fiona doesn't know that. In fact, it was a question she had never asked to herself. Her mother knew that her husband was using her connection but she never once seemed to be unhappy. However she heard her mother's first words of sorrow was that she had birthed a girl instead of a son.
