My eyes looked over my people. They all looked angry. "Why the hell are you all so loud?!"

I shrugged and stared the man down, "I did warn you they are loud broadcasters when upset." My desire for bloodshed had barely been touched. I could get away with doing a lot more to my own kind.

As always his entourage of females were close at his back. Two of them were pregnant. There must not be any other telepathic races on board or they would have been sent back. The other races would never risk a pregnancy in such a way.

It was none of my business what they did with their unborn children.

So I shifted my body. The shift from warrior to child was easy enough. I felt Aleksi move. His wing flaring out to help block me from the looks. His people moved as one. They fanned out at our back.
