The only person Jack hadn't found yet was Maya Hansen. She wasn't where Aldrich Killian thought she was. Jack left her for last because he knew Maya Hansen hadn't been transformed and wasn't dangerous.
Unlike the movie, she wouldn't die, and that's why Jack wanted to see the formula for the Extremis virus in her mind. After that, he would erase her memory and send her to prison.
While Jack was thinking about going home and waiting for his clones to find Maya Hansen, he received a call.
"Hey, Tony, sorry for not calling you. I was dealing with a complicated problem, but everything's fine now. You can let Happy Hogan go, and you and Pepper can leave," said Jack, smiling.
"Was the problem solved? But you told me to be careful with Maya Hansen. She's at my house now, and I told Pepper to stay away from her, and Pepper is worried about it, and Maya Hansen is in the living room confused," said Tony.
Jack heard that and sighed. He thought fate was really a problem. He thought they had resolved everything quickly so that Tony wouldn't know anything, but how could he imagine that, unlike the movie, Maya Hansen would go to Tony's house when Tony didn't even threaten the Mandarin.
Jack thought about it and soon thought that Maya Hansen probably wanted to go after Tony anyway, and Aldrich Killian would still attack Tony even if he didn't know he was Iron Man or if Tony hadn't threatened the Mandarin.
After all, they needed Tony to have the perfect formula for the Extremis virus that drunk Tony helped improve. Jack just sighed when he thought the timing was really bad. After all, if she waited a day, he would erase her memory and put Maya Hansen in prison.
"I'm going to your house now, I'm going there as Battle Sage, and be careful not to say my name," said Jack.
Jack used his hero suit and a portal and went to Tony's house in Malibu. Maya, who didn't know why Tony told her to wait and took Pepper away, was startled when she saw Battle Sage appear.
After all, the Mandarin was now a criminal and Maya was his accomplice. As they say, a guilty conscience needs no accuser, and Maya was afraid to see a hero like Battle Sage appear.
"Hey, Tony, leave it to me, I'll take care of it now," Jack said, walking towards Maya.
"Maya Hansen, the fake Mandarin has been arrested and Aldrich Killian is missing. The evidence of their crimes has been turned over to the police. You're an accomplice and will be arrested too," Jack said.
"What? How is that possible? The Mandarin only appeared recently, how could you have gathered evidence so quickly?" Maya said, so shocked that she didn't even try to hide her guilt.
Jack didn't answer, and after reading the Extremis virus formula from her memory, he erased all memory related to it from Maya's mind. As Maya had worked with the Extremis virus for over nine years, Jack erased almost all memory of the last several years from her mind, and Maya felt dizzy from it.
Tony didn't know what had happened, but he now knew that the Maya he had known several years ago was a criminal and that Jack seemed to have investigated and arrested all the criminals. Jack called the police to come and arrest Maya and looked at Tony.
"It's all sorted out now, Tony. You can tell Pepper to relax. I've taken care of Aldrich Killian and the others, and the rest have been arrested. The Extremis virus made them into walking bombs that could kill several people," Jack said in a way that only Tony could hear.
Tony finally understood why Jack hadn't told him earlier. After all, he had to kill some people who could be a threat, and that wasn't something that people accepted heroes doing, but Tony thought it was necessary.
Soon, the police arrived and took Maya, who was still confused and would take weeks to organize her new memories of the past few years. When Maya left, Pepper came out of her room relieved to see that the police had arrived.
"Hi Pepper, everything is already resolved, you guys are safe. I didn't want to explain to Tony what was happening, but I didn't expect Maya Hansen to come here," said Jack, apologizing.
"It's okay, Jack. I'm glad you warned us about her. I had seen on television what the Mandarin was doing. He killed several people and was a terrorist. Fortunately, you were able to capture him and his accomplices," Pepper replied.
"Tony, I think it's time to have surgery to remove the fragments near your heart. With the dangers that could happen, it's not good to walk around with a problem like that in your chest that can be solved," Jack suggested.
"I was already thinking about doing that. Can you participate in my surgery? I remember how you helped me last time, and you said you could do it," Tony asked.
"I wanted to help, Tony, but I think you can't wait several years for me to get a medical degree to help you. I have techniques for surgery, but I can't because I never studied medicine and depend on my power," Jack explained.
"I trust you more than the doctors to do this. I can pay a lot of money for a private clinic to perform the surgery and say that you will participate in the surgery, so they won't ask for your diploma," Tony said.
"Okay, I can do that," Jack agreed, seeing that Tony would only have the surgery if he participated.
After a few days, all the media in the world reported how the hero Battle Sage had captured the terrorist Mandarin and several other criminals that even the governments of the world couldn't find.
Tony also had a successful surgery. Since Jack's suggestion, Tony had prepared a giant magnet and surgery tools that were not made of metal. Jack led the surgery and wore a regular doctor's mask to cover his face.
He used Yang Chakra and ninja medical techniques to prevent Tony from feeling pain and to avoid excessive blood loss. Jack quickly opened Tony's chest with a scalpel and easily found the shards that had come out of his chest and were attracted to the magnet on the ceiling.
The other doctors just watched as Jack operated with ease, even with Tony awake. Tony hardly lost any blood and was now free of the shards in his chest. Jack used Yang Chakra to regenerate Tony's chest, which closed without any scars.
