Chapitre 896: CANE WAS WORRIED

Pax immediately reported this matter to Cane, once he saw the luna went back to the campsite on Lil Thing's back along with her warriors and the merchant. 

Cane didn't show any sign that he received an important report when he left the strategy room, but Rei could tell it was something urgent that needed his attention, or else, he wouldn't have left in the middle of their heated conversation without making a snarky remark to turn the table around. 

And there was only one thing that could make the alpha like that…

"You can continue to discuss what we need to do going forward." Rei let Elder Xarex to lead the meeting, as he was ready to leave, but Jace stopped him. 

"We need your input about this. After all, you are the one, who have been leading the plan. It will be more convenience if you were here," Jace said, trying to stop him from going, because he knew where he would go.
