Isla stared down at her mate, tears streaming down her face. 

She shook violently as they all stared at his body, waiting for something to happen.

  She glanced over at harry's body. 

She felt no remorse for using him to try to bring Kelly back. 

He had tried to kill them all. 

She simply considered it a life for a life.

Medusa's hand was still on Kelly's chest, her pale skin now soaked red with her dead husband's blood.

Not one of harry's remaining soldiers, of which there were few, stepped forward to save them as he begged for his life. 

When the men made it clear that they held no loyalty toward him, the wolves had let them leave. 

Now they all stood staring at their Alpha, waiting for something to happen.

"Why isn't he waking up?" Isla asked.

  "Why isn't it working?"

"Give it a moment," Medusa said sharply.
