Chapitre 4: Chapter 4: Start of the training and a private workshop.

After accepting the offer, Alex followed Alvos, the god of balance, downhill. Alex immediately made a request.

"Can I have a private workshop and a bed where I can sleep and build whatever I like?"

"Hmm, I have a private workshop. I can arrange that now," Alvos replied. He turned towards the Forge of Olympus, and Alex followed. Upon arrival, Alex saw dwarves and the god of forging himself, tirelessly mass-producing weapons: swords, spears, maces, armor, and shields, day and night.

Alvos led Alex to a nearby door, opening it to reveal a small forge. Inside, Alex saw some materials on a wooden box, tools hanging on the wall, a bed, and some cooking utensils.

"This is your private forge for the time being. It's mine, but due to the curse, I thought, why not give it to you? Training starts tomorrow, so don't get too distracted, got it?"

"Yes," Alex replied.

Alvos stepped outside and saw Artemis approaching.

"Hey Alvos, can I guard him?" she asked.

"Sure, some Athenian loyalists under that pope might be coming after him."

"Got it," Artemis said. She originally planned to ask the Athenian palace for answers since their trade deal was at risk, but she decided that Alex would handle it. For now, she sat in a meditative state near the door.

Meanwhile, Alex was already sketching the weapon he wanted to build. He designed a saber bracelet, choosing one violet crystal and a few ores. He melted them in the forge and carefully poured the liquid metal into a sand mold shaped like a glove or bracelet. Piece by piece, he hammered and assembled the parts before placing them on the table. As night fell, Alex ate some bread and slept.

"That boy is late," Alvos muttered as he waited.

A few minutes later, Alex arrived, wearing black leather armor and long gray pants. He also wore the bracelet he had crafted, which caught Alvos' attention.

"What's that?" Alvos asked.

"You'll see," Alex replied.

Alvos nodded. "Alright, let's begin the test. We'll start with a spar to assess your combat abilities. Don't hold back."

Alvos unleashed his battle aura, shaking the ground. Alex, not intimidated, released his own battle aura, shaking the ground even more. Alvos laughed heartily.

"Hahaha! If Athena or Artemis saw this, they'd kill you on the spot!"

Alex remained silent, activating his energy blades. They materialized from the bracelet, and he adopted a battle stance.

"Nice weapon," Alvos commented, pulling out a massive warhammer from his back. He leaped high into the air, smashing the hammer downward with immense force.

Alex responded by slashing his blade with equal power, blocking the attack and creating a small crater beneath his feet.

After five minutes of intense combat, Alex retreated briefly and opened a small dimension, shocking Alvos. From the dimension, Alex pulled out a longsword covered in a black aura and charged.

"Sky-Shattering Judgment!"

As Alex unleashed the powerful attack, Alvos could feel the distortion in the air and the danger. If he didn't react fast, it might kill him.

"Upward Tempest!"

*BOOOOOOOOM*

A massive explosion rocked the combat field, shaking half of Olympus. Artemis, who had been at the archery grounds, rushed over, alarmed by the commotion.

"Cough, cough… What happened here?!" she demanded, seeing the dust settling around the combatants.

Alvos stood still, a beam of black energy just inches from his face, wielded by Alex.

"Well, I won this round," Alex said, lowering his blade.

"Yeah, but your training is just beginning," Alvos responded, shaking off the dust.

"Hey! What happened here?" Artemis shouted, clearly frustrated after being ignored. She pointed at the gaping hole in the combat field's roof.

"I used a skill called Sky-Shattering Judgment," Alex explained casually.

"Weird name," Artemis remarked.

"Don't judge," Alex retorted. "It can cut a titan in half."

"You're joking, right?"

"Want to test it?" Alex challenged.

"You wanna die?!"

"Okay, that's enough!" Alvos interrupted, stopping their argument before it escalated.

"Alright, tomorrow we'll test that theory on the Titan Frontier," Alvos announced.

"Sure. I'll build new armor for the trial," Alex said, turning to leave. But as he did, a fist flew toward him. He blocked it just in time.

*BAM*

"Bastard! How dare you act so arrogant!"

"Don't attack me like a wild animal," Alex said calmly, walking away. But another strike came, and once again, he blocked it effortlessly.

"Hmph! Let's see how you do tomorrow!"

They parted ways, but as Alex headed back to his workshop, one of Artemis' subordinates, angry over his insults to the goddess, shot an arrow aimed at Alex's spine.

*Swack! Pish!*

Alex cut the arrow in half mid-flight and pointed his sword at the group. Gathering a large amount of energy, he unleashed a powerful beam at a nearby mountain.

"Starburst!"

The white beam shot out, grazing the attacker and hitting the mountain behind them, causing a massive explosion. A mushroom cloud rose into the air as the mountain was reduced to rubble.

Alvos, Artemis, and her companions were stunned. The mountain, a landmark since the founding of Olympus, was destroyed in an instant.

Then, Alex spoke with chilling authority. "Try that again, and I dare you—what you'll feel will be worse than a titan tearing you apart."

He returned to his workshop and hung a sign on the door that read:

'Do Not Disturb.'
