Chapitre 73: The War isn't Done Yet

Lilith was smiling as she stared at Ein and the three little girls.

"So Master's tastes changed in the short time I was away?" Lilith said as she tilted her head playfully.

However, Ein wasn't worried about that, but about something else. He squinted his eyes as if trying to scrutinize what he was sensing.

"Lilith... you don't have any mana?" he asked.

Lilith usually exuded a strange presence, as her mana was way above what an average being in this world should possess. However, right now, not a single trace of mana could be felt from her. Even the mana that Ein transferred to her earlier was nowhere to be found.

"Ah, that?" Lilith snickered. "I broke a part of my contract, so I'm under a penalty right now. It should recover in a week or two."
