"Begin!"
As soon as General Frost gave the signal, Sir Gawain didn't miss a beat. He quickly dashed forward with unbelievable speed, contrary to his heavily armored appearance.
"Take this!"
He quickly swung his sword downward. As it was a longsword and not a two-hander, it lacked the weight to crush the opponent in one strike. However, Sir Gawain determined that this one attack should be able to end the battle.
*clang!*
That's why, when Ein effortlessly deflected the overhead strike like it was nothing, he spaced out for a moment. 'How did he do that? Isn't he a mage?!' The thought lasted but an instant as he quickly connected an upward diagonal slash, aiming for Ein's neck.
Ein simply took a single step back, evading the sword's path without even looking at it. Simultaneously, he raised his sword and launched a quick thrust, aiming for Sir Gawain's right shoulder.
