Chapitre 138: You Knew?

Anna didn't know what the relationship between her mother and Mal was, but she was beginning to pick up on small things. 

The complicated light in her boyfriend's eyes and her mother's stammering was rather telling, and soon she came to an understandable conclusion. 

"Malachi... Jadou...Saint... I'm only going to ask you this one time." She growled. "Did you fuck my mom!?"

Mal: "No."

Joanne: "N-NO! Why would you think that!?"

PG: "I feel like I've missed a few episodes..."

Malachi immediately waved away all of Annalise's suspicions as he placed his arms on both of her shoulders. 

"Joanne's just a friend, and I knew but-"

"I'm not your friend."

"Pick your fucking battles." Malachi reminded. 

Anna looked somewhat betrayed and her violet eyes were filled with hurt. "How did you find out...?"

"I..." Mal didn't know how much he was allowed to say.
