Sarah stood on the other side of the room as Agnes assisted her in putting on the shawl.
"It's done," Agnes replied as she stepped back.
"Let's go, dearies are waiting!" she added, smiling beneath the veil.
Sarah and her squad then began walking towards their objective, and all eyes were on her.
Sarah walked slowly and deliberately; after all, with so many protective moms surrounding her, she had learned to be extra cautious, even if it was unnecessary.
Sarah smiled as she glanced out at the throngs of people in the stadium. Her eyes were also gleaming. Sarah waved to the throng with her right hand, which was adorned with a golden hand ring bracelet.
All bustle stopped the moment her hand was raised in the air.
Sarah was seated on a white rose chair minutes later. It was the first time she had seen anything like this in her entire life.
