#Chapter182
Adele steps out of the shower, wraps a towel around her and steps over to the window to peer out at the glittering lights of Johannesburg below her. She wonders about Sunnet and Henri and decides that she will have to speak to the big Frenchman in the morning, because as far as she is concerned, Sunnet would be a great catch for any man. The new Adele is very comfortable waiting for sleep to claim her and bring the new day around so that she can be reunited with her family.
As she dozes, her mind wanders, thinking of Yvonne and Gillian, wondering where they are now, and how freedom must feel to them. Adele closes her eyes and goes to sleep; tomorrow she will once again be where she belongs, with the people that love her. Her last thought before sleep takes over is: Is David going to be able to handle the new me? Well, we will just have to wait and see... She falls asleep with a contented smile on her face.
