Apology

I had to do something, I couldn't stand to see him hurting himself like this.

With a frustrated scream I quickly launched myself between him and the punching bag just as he raised his fist preparing for another strike.

His fist stopped just centimeters away from my face.

Nate's eyes widened in shock as he noticed me for the first time. He blinked at me, clearly dazed. His gaze slowly switched between me and his fist which was still suspended in midair, dangerously close to my face. His expression quickly changed from shock to anger as he finally put together what had happened.

/"Have you lost your goddamn mind? I could have seriously hurt you!/" He yelled causing me to shrink back.

/"You were hurting yourself, I-I had to stop you./" I stuttered weakly.

His glare finally strayed from me to his bloody knuckles and he groaned in frustration.

/"Damn it Verena!/" He growled.
