Chapitre 235: Starting anew

The forensic team was unable to extract any useful information from the dead body. Based on the jewelry recovered from the body, the cops declared that Abigail was dead. Oscar had also admitted to kidnapping and murdering her.

Christopher remained quiet in this case. He didn't reveal that the dead body wasn't Abigail's. Only Benjamin, Brad, and Vivian were aware of it.

Christopher even stopped looking for her because it would alert his hidden enemy. To make his strategy work, he imagined doing something that would force his adversary to appear in front of him.

He packed Abigail's belongings and put them in the storeroom. Because his adversary was constantly watching him, he felt compelled to act as though he had moved on and was ready to begin again.

Britney came to see him. She was somewhat taken aback when she saw him moving all of Abigail's things to the storeroom.

"What are you doing, Chris?" she asked.
